FAQs

Do you participate in the Nationwide Membership program?
Yes, if you have a current YMCA membership, we will honor that membership when you bring a valid photo ID.  

Are out of town guests welcome?
Yes, if you are a YMCA of Rapid City member, you may bring your out-of-town guest with you to the YMCA as your guest while you are working out. Guests must bring a photo ID with them. 

Do you offer free trials to see if I like the YMCA facility?
Yes, we have one-week trials available for those interested in joining the Y.  

Does the YMCA have a nursery?
The Y offers Child Watch which is a drop-in service with trained staff. It is available to children aged 6-weeks through elementary age, up to two hours per day. Beginning October 1, 2024 our Rapid City YMCA Child Watch hours are: 8:30AM to 1:15PM Monday – Friday; 5-7:30PM Monday – Thursday; and 9AM-1PM on Saturday.
