No one does camp like the Y! Offer at locations throughout the Rapid City, YMCA summer day camp participants will have a blast while in an enriching and positive environment. Our focus on a child’s physical and social-emotional well-being will help your child make new friends, develop independence and try new things.
Exploring Y Summer Camp Near You
Offered in Rapid City, Custer, and Edgemont, Y Summer Day Camp is the best place for your child to get out and get active. Activities may include sports, outdoor games, creative arts, archery, engineering, swimming, and nature exploration. Through the Y, kids are provided with nutritious meals to help children stay healthy and active throughout the day at camp.

Registration is now open for 2024 Summer Camp at Giraffic Park! You can register in-person at the YMCA Childcare Desk – 625 9th Street, Rapid City, SD 57701.
What You’ll Need
- Copy of child’s immunization records
- $100 deposit (if registering for more than 1 session)
- Full tuition (if registering for only 1 session)
