For the past 1 1/2 years, the YMCA of Rapid City has had a cultural exchange with the YMCA in Porto Alegre,Brazil. We have had letter, photo and card exchanges going on between youth enrolled in Rapid City's child care and Rio Grande do Sul's elementary kids.

The teens are back and had a great time. They learned alot about the differences in our cultures. Later this year, we will plan a presentation so that you can hear all about their experience.
