YMCA Child Care Has Expanded
This the YMCA has added another 3 year old classroom. Therefore, we still have some openings in our preschool for ages 3 1/2 through 6. Check out the following classrooms that offer a quality, safe environment.

3 YEARS - 4 YEARS
Lollipops & Noah's Ark (Mon- Fri 6:30am-6pm)
These programs promote a whole language, hands on approach to learning. Activities include cooperative play, art, and story time. Swimming lessons and gross motor skills that include music and movement are also part of the curriculum. Outdoor play and spontaneous outdoor excursions are incorporated in the day when weather permits. .............................................. Fall 2012 fees: Mem = $493, Part. = $562

4 YEARS - 5 1/2 YEARS
Movers & Shakers & Jungle Kids (Mon - Fri 6:30am-6pm)
Our full day pre-kindergarten classrooms focus on the skills children need prior to entering kindergarten. The curriculum will prepare them academically, socially, and physically. Some of the activities may include writing skills, shape identification, various counting activities, fine and gross motor skills, science, and many hands-on experiences. 3 YEARS - 3 YEARS 9 MONTHS
Zoo Crew AM (Mon-Fri 8am-12pm )
This half day preschool program engages children in a wide variety of activities that prepares them academically, socially, and physically. Swimming lessons, music and movement, and special projects are included in the program. Zoo Crew runs on the public school schedule. ......................................................................................................................... 3 YEARS 10 MONTHS - 5 YEARS
Zoo Crew PM (Mon-Fri 12:30-4:30pm)
This half day preschool program engages children in a wide variety of activities that prepares them academically, socially, and physically for kindergarten. Some of the activities may include writing skills, shape identification, various counting activities, fine and gross motor skills, science, and many hands-on experiences. Swimming lessons, music and movement, field trips, and special projects are included in the program. 2 YEARS - 3 YEARS
Doodlebugs (Mon-Fri 6:30-6pm)
Children in this program will continue to develop their gross/fine motor skills through activities that may include swimming lessons, play time, art activities, cutting skills, color and shape recognition, indoor/outdoor play, music, dance, and story time. 1 YEAR - 2 YEARS
Bear Den (Mon-Fri 6:30am-6pm)
A balance of planned and free choice experiences fill their day. Daily activities include play time, art, story time, development of gross/fine motor skills, finger plays and songs, baby sign language, outside excursions, naps, and an abundance of hugs from the staff.
