This program promotes learning through play. Activities include cooperative play, art, and story time. Swimming lessons and gross motor skills that include music and movement are also part of the curriculum.

5-6 YEARS
Movers & Shakers
This pre-kindergarten classroom focuses on the skills children need prior to entering school. The curriculum will include writing skills, shape identification, various counting activities, fine and gross motor skills and many hands-on experiences. Swimming lessons and music and movement are also included.

3 1/2 -5 YEARS WHO HAVE NOT STARTED KINDERGARTEN
Zoo Crew (Mon-Fri 8am-12pm or 12:30-4:30pm)
This half day preschool program engages children in a wide
variety of activities that prepares them academically, socially, and physically. Swimming lessons, music and movement, field trips and special projects are part of the program.
Zoo Crew runs on the public school schedule.

3 1/2 -5 YEARS WHO HAVE NOT STARTED KINDERGARTEN
Zoo Crew (Mon-Fri 8am-12pm or 12:30-4:30pm)

Zoo Crew runs on the public school schedule. Currently there are openings in the morning sessions.

TODDLER 2 - 3 YEARS
Doodlebugs
Children will continue to develop their gross/fine motor skills by participating in activities that may include swimming lessons, cutting skills, color and shape recognition and indoor/outdoor play. Music and story time are also an important part of the Doodlebug day.

9 MONTHS - 2 YEARS
Bear Den (Mon-Fri 6:30am-6pm)
A balance of planned and free choice experiences fill their day. Daily experiences include play time, art, story time, development of gross/fine motor skills, finger plays and songs, outside excursions, naps, and an abundance of hugs from staff. Learning through experience is the focus in the Bear Den.
